Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is Planning to Train 1 Million Youngester

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and a Malaysian company (Re-Skills) for learners seeking knowledge online.

The Malaysian company will provide a grant worth of  12 million dollars to the Punjab government to fund the training.

Under the MoU, PITB in collaboration with Re-Skills will provide free online training to youngsters will receive free online IT training. The training will be provided to youngsters between the ages of 16 and 30 free of cost and it will help to generate self-employment opportunities.

The training will be provided through a digital platform and can be accessed easily by youths with smartphones.
